Acrylic and ink on canvas, created after a trip home to Kentucky, from an aerial photograph I captured. It’s the Bluegrass State for a reason, and the secret is in the title of the art. These shades of green, blue and teal have always been my favorite to work with. Added elements include molding mud and melted pumice stone, which bring to life the textures and lay of the land.
